"When death comes, despair is diminished by the strength and togetherness of Family. Death must not be met alone... From the shock and inner-paralysis of the death of one beloved, reality and resolve become the wellsprings of acceptance, healing and hope..." Jerry Brown

Family Grief Connection is an opportunity for family members of our campers and teens to come together and have their own experience of hope and healing. Facilitated by a children's grief professional; any family members helping to raise a grieving child are welcome to attend. Beginning at 11:30 on Saturday at a nearby location family members will hear a bit about what is happening with their children at camp and teen retreat, share in some of the activities campers do, ask questions about what's 'normal' in grief for children and families and find support from those who share the same challenges. A book store and resource center are available and individual time with our professionals can be arranged. Lunch and day care are provided, there is no charge. We ask that you fill out the following form and mail it in with your camper applications so we can prepare for lunch and supplies.
Because of the on-going commitment and generosity of our donors, Family Grief Connection is free to participants.
